About Global News Day

Global News Day is a digital publication concept focused on helping readers understand issues in the UK and around the world.

What readers can expect

Our initial collection consists of topic explainers covering UK affairs, international issues, business, technology and culture. We do not present these introductory articles as original reporting or claim to have verified unfolding events.

Our editorial ambition

We aim for clear sourcing, proportionate headlines, transparent corrections and an accessible reading experience. Any future reported article should identify its author, publication date and supporting sources.

Transparency

This site is a starter publication. Ownership, editorial staff and business contact details should be added by the site operator before representing it as an established newsroom.
